With more than 30 years of fishing and guiding experience and serving as a USCG Licensed Guide, you’ll be in the most capable hands and your safety will always come first. He’s the type of captain that wants this to be a hands-on experience for you. He’ll teach you the basics, from how to bait the hook, to casting the line, setting the hook, and bringing the fish into the boat!
Some guides do it all for you—and where’ the fun in that? Capt. Clark wants you to catch the fish on our own if you’re up to learning. If you need any help, he can certainly share some of his most successful tactics for catching fish with you and everyone who wants to learn!
Crystal Blue Charters runs a 21′ Majek Redfishline powered by a 150-HP/4-Stroke Yamaha motor that was chosen for its’ superior performance in the areas where he commonly fishes. This Majek also offers a K-Top for shade on those wall-to-wall sunny days!
You’ll board the boat in Aransas Pass, TX and the captain will give you all the details and directions when you call to reserve your trip date/s. He serves the communities from Corpus Christi to Rockport-Fulton, as well as all areas in between!
Fish in spots like Corpus Christi Bay, Redfish Bay, Aransas Bay, Estes Flats, Mud Island, South Bay, California Hole, Port Aransas jetties, and plenty of other secret spots that only he knows!
When you book a trip with Crystal Blue Charters, expect the ultimate fishing experience. Get ready to make some fantastic memories while connecting with your family and friends!
Kids are especially welcome at Crystal Blue Charters. Just watching the faces light up when they reel in a fish is priceless so make sure you have your camera ready.
Everyone 17 years of age or older must bring a Texas fishing license with a special “saltwater stamp.” You can’t board the boat without it. Licenses may be purchased at any major sporting goods store, HEB, Walmart, and some local convenience stores as well as online at the Texas parks and wildlife website.
Captain’s law: all kids 12 years of age and under must wear a life jacket when the motor is running—no exceptions.
Sunscreen, sunglasses, a wide-brimmed hat to protect your face, neck, and shoulders from the sun, a light jacket (Texas weather can be a little unpredictable at times), a cell phone to take photos and videos, and your favorite cold drinks and snacks.
Note: The captain has an iced-down chest onboard and absolutely no styrofoam chest allowed because they always move around and sometimes fly off the boat. This pollutes the gulf and the bays.
Some folks like to bring a loose-fitting, long sleeve shirt as well for added sun protection. You can fish with the captain’s rods, reels, and tackle or you can bring your own—just let Capt. Clark know in advance when you call to reserve.
The captain provides the following for your comfort and safety:
