Captain Clark Miles is a full-time, USCG licensed guide who fishes year
'round. He takes his business seriously, and has devoted much time and effort to
learning the habits of the various species of fish common to his area, such as
redfish, speckled trout, flounder, black drum. He knows how they react to
different baits, water temperature, and changes in tides.

Fishing Report: February 2017
The tides are LOW and the fish are
biting. Live shrimp and sea lice seem to be the best for reds and
trout. Look along the drop-offs of the shallow flats. Fish the ends
of the North and South jetty for trout and sheepshead. Try a lime
green shimp on the jetty for trout. The sheepshead should be
starting their spawn and will be thick around all structure and
rocks. Also on the wells in Corpus bay. This is a good time of year
to take the boat out on a calm day and look at the places you really
want to be careful running when the tides get back to normal. all
the reels are sticking up purty good so don't be running full bore.
Have a safe trip and be courteous to your fellow boaters. Clark
Good luck and see you on the water,
